Le Morne Brabant is a 556 m high rock on the peninsula of the same name at Mauritius´ extreme southwestern tip. The mountain has been made accessible through various trails, up to the top, to where you might have to do a little climbing on the last stretch of the ascent. From several viewpoints, one gets lovely panorama views of the picturesque peninsula, the neighbouring bays, and the reef a few hundred metres offshore.
Le Morne Brabant ist ein 556 Meter hoher Felsen auf der gleichnamigen Halbinsel an der Südwestspitze von Mauritius. Der Berg ist durch verschiedene Wege erschlossen, die bis zum Gipfel gehen, wobei das letzte Stück etwas Kletterei beinhaltet. Von verschiedenen Aussichtspunkten hat man herrliche Ausblicke auf die malerische Halbinsel, die benachbarten Buchten und das ein paar Hundert Meter vorgelagerte Riff.
